Susan Saint James (McMillan and Wife) and Jane Curtin (3rd Rock from the Sun, Saturday Night Live) star as high school friends Kate McArdle and Allie Lowell, two divorcees raising their kids together in one of the rare modern sitcoms set - and filmed - in New York City.

Critics raved as the show had massive ratings, earning Jane Curtin one of two consecutive EmmyR Awards for Best Actress while Bill Persky scored an EmmyR for Best Director.
