The Jungle Book

Based on the beloved novel of adventure of friendship and adventure,

this animated family feature was first produced in the late 1960s as a five part series by Russia’s

award-winning animation studio Soyuzmultfilm.

Adored by several generations of Russian children, this digitally restored

release was re-voiced in English by Hollywood stars Charlton Heston (narrator), Sam Elliott (Kaa) and Dana Delany

(Bageera) and is available for the first time on DVD. The film, which follows Mowgli’s life from infancy to adulthood,

became popular with Western audiences and has regularly been aired by leading broadcasters around the globe

from HBO & Comcast V.O.D. (USA) to Media Set (Italy) and Proseiben (Germany).
