Dinky Dog

Take a trip down memory lane with this classic Saturday morning cartoon

about the adventures of the world’s largest, but very lovable, dog.  Originally featured as part of the CBS Network’s

The All-New Popeye Hour in the late 1970’s, Dinky Dog features an all-star voice cast including

Frank Welker (“Megatron” in The Transformers, “Freddy Jones” and “Scooby” in Scooby-Doo, “Nibbler” in Futurama),

Jackie Joseph (“Melody” in Josie and the Pussycats), and Jean Vander Pyl (“Wilma” and “Peebles Flintstone”

in The Flintstones, “Rosie the Robot Maid” in The Jetsons).

This three disc collection features all 16 half hour episodes of this Hanna-Barbera creation available on

DVD for the first time in North America.  An adorable, hairy mountain of affection, Dinky lumbers his way into

everyone’s heart.  His owner is Uncle Dudley, who says he’s outgrown everything and must go!  While his friends,

Monica and Sandy are always dreaming up schemes to protect Dinky from Uncle Dudley and

sure enough, their tactics work, usually just in time as Dinky manages to solve a mystery, if only by accident. 

No one can tell how each story will end and that adds to the fun.
